Ragi flour ā 1 cup
Nutralite choco spread with Calciumā ½ cup (for filling)
Jaggery powder ā ¾ cup (or sugar)
Ghee ā ¼ cup + 1 tbsp
Water ā ¼ cup
Chopped almonds ā 2 tbsp
Desiccated coconut ā 2 tbsp (optional, for coating)
Heat ¼ cup ghee in a pan. Add ragi flour and roast on low heat for 8ā10 minutes until fragrant. Transfer to a bowl.
In the same pan, combine jaggery powder and water. Simmer until it forms a sticky syrup (1-string consistency). Add cardamom powder.
Pour the syrup into the roasted ragi flour. Add chopped almonds. Mix into a crumbly dough. Let it cool slightly.
Take a lemon-sized dough portion. Flatten, add 1 tsp Nutralite choco spread with calcium , and seal into a ragi chocolate ball. Roll in desiccated coconut. Repeat!
