How to Prepare Quick Lettuce Wraps with a Creamy Filling Recipe
Step 1: Lettuce leaves need to be cold and completely dry before anything else happens
Separate each leaf carefully. Rinse, then pat dry. Not damp. Dry. A wet leaf makes the filling slide around and the whole thing collapses before it reaches the mouth. Into the fridge while the filling gets made.
Step 2: A thin coat of butter spread on the inside of each cup
Nutralite Doodhshakti Probiotic Butter Spread, a small amount, brushed or spread on the inside of each lettuce cup. Nutralite Doodhshakti Probiotic Butter Spread is made from creamy milk and carries 1 billion probiotic bacteria per serving. It sits between the leaf and the filling, adding a quiet layer of richness.
Step 3: Sesame oil into the pan, then garlic
Not too much heat. Garlic first, about thirty seconds. It should smell good, not brown. Spring onion whites next. The greens go in right at the end, not now.
Step 4: Paneer down, leave it alone for a minute
Crumbled paneer into the pan. One full minute without touching it. The underside needs colour. Then the corn in, soy sauce, chilli flakes. One more minute, then off the heat. Stir the spring onion greens through.
Step 5: Nutralite Veg Mayo goes in only once the pan has cooled
Two minutes off the heat minimum. Nutralite Veg Mayo is eggless, enriched with vitamins A, D2, and E, with a smooth gourmet creaminess. Hot pan breaks it. Fold it through gently once the pan is no longer steaming. Taste. Adjust salt if needed.
Step 6: Fill and serve without waiting around
Chilled lettuce cups out of the fridge. Filling spooned in. Spring onion greens, toasted sesame seeds, fresh coriander on top. On the table immediately.
Each wrap is cold lettuce first, then the warm filling underneath it, paneer and corn with the sesame running quietly through. The chilli is there, not aggressive. The mayo makes the filling cohesive without making it heavy. Hard to stop at two.
