  • A small packet of roasted Vermicelli
  • Nutralite
  • Mustard seeds
  • Cumin seeds
  • 1 onion
  • 1 potato
  • 1 carrot
  • Peas (1/3rd cup)
  • Salt as per taste
  • Chilli powder
  • Turmeric powder


  1. Take a wok and add a tablespoon of Nutralite. Let it heat and then add mustard seeds as well as cumin seeds!
  2. Saute chopped onions. Add chopped potatoes, cover them and cook till tender.
  3. Add peas, chopped carrots and again cook for about 2-3 mins. Add chopped tomatoes and green chillies.
  4. Stir and add the spices (salt, red chilli powder and haldi) as per taste.
  5. Now add a cup of dry and roasted vermicelli along with one and half cup of  water and let it cook on medium flame. It's best to cover the wok.
  6. Once the water has dried, squeeze half a lemon and garnish it with coriander. Vegetable Vermicelli is ready to be enjoyed and added to your repertoire of veg recipes of India.
