Few food items can boast of having traditional origins to them. A Khichia Papad recipe is one of them. Originating from Gujarat, Khichiya papads are made in bulk, generally between January-March. The easy-to-make factor, along with a tangy taste, offers one the perfect alternative for a tasty quick bite. How about we add a twist to this? With Nutralite Mayo, mayonnaise uses take a different route altogether, serving as an epicentre for taste and health. Therefore, this Khichia Papad recipe is surely going to set a perfect balance between taste and health.

  • 3 readymade khichia papads
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 medium tomato
  • 1 green chilli
  • 2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 3 tbsps Nutralite Achari Mayo
  • 3 tbsps nylon sev

Instructions

Method


  1. Finely chop onion, tomato and green chilli.
  2. Roast khichia papads well.
  3. Transfer chopped onion, tomatoes and chilli in a bowl. Add coriander leaves and mix well.
  4. Spread 1 tbsp Nutralite Achari Mayo on each papad and spread evenly. Transfer them on a serving plate and top with onion-tomato mixture.
  5. Sprinkle sev on top and serve immediately.
