Making an excellent starter recipe for a lunch/dinner spread is not an everyday job. On top of that, adding a healthy aspect to such starters is an even tougher job. This Chicken Malai Kabab recipe, made with Nutralite Mayo, is a delicious, melt-in-your-mouth recipe, which never compromises on your health and keeps your taste buds satisfied to a great extent.
400 gms boneless chicken legs, cut into 1 inch pieces
Salt to taste
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tbsps ginger-garlic paste
2 tbsps Nutralite Veg Mayo
½ cup grated processed cheese
½ teaspoon green cardamom powder
Green chutney for serving
- Put chicken pieces in a bowl. Add salt, crushed peppercorns, lemon juice and ginger-garlic paste and mix well.
- Add Nutralite Veg Mayo, cheese, cardamom powder and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 1 hour.
- Preheat air fryer to 200˚C and arrange the chicken pieces in it. Coat the chicken pieces with remaining marinade and air fry for 5 minutes. Reduce temperature to 180˚C and air fry for 12-15 minutes.
- Serve hot with green chutney.
