Oats Halwa with a Honey Base is an easy to make Indian vegetarian recipe- a tasty and healthy warm dish for the winter season. This dish can be served as a healthy breakfast or can be a healthy brunch idea too, which pacifies your sweet cravings instantly.


What you need to prepare the Oats Halwa with Honey Base:

  • Oats – 1 cup (100 grams)
  • Milk – One Cup
  • Nutralite Classic - about 50 grams
  • Milk - ½ cup (50ml)
  • Water - ½ cup (50ml)
  • Honey – ½ cup (50ml)
  • Dry Fruits - ½ cup (Could include raisins, almonds, cashews etc)
  • Cinnamon Powder - ½ teaspoon


How to make the Oats Halwa with a Honey Base:

  1. Heat a kadai and add Nutralite Classic to it.
  2. Add the oats to it and roast on a low flame, until you notice a slight change in color and it gives out a nice aroma.
  3. Transfer the roasted oats into a mixer and blend it into a powder.
  4. Add milk, water and honey to the same Kadai, and stir well.
  5. Now slowly add the powdered oats, cardamom powder, and dry fruits to the mixture in the kadai, and keep stirring.
  6. Cover the mixture with a lid and cook on a low heat for 10 minutes.
  7. Occasionally keep stirring the mixture.
  8. Cook until it begins to have the consistency of a halwa.
  9. Garnish the halwa with chopped dry fruits and raisins.
